That's not this.

This is just a place. A corner of the internet I built for myself because I kept running out of places to put things. Not a brand. Not a content strategy. Not a project with a roadmap. Just a signal — something in, something out, see what sticks.

The writing here will be honest before it's polished. That's the deal. Some of it will be half-formed. Some of it will be wrong. When I'm guessing, I'll say so. When something's documented, I'll show you the documentation. The rest is just me thinking out loud in public, which is either useful or it isn't.

The first real thing I'm working on is a series called Loose Threads.

The short version: it's about how the stuff in your head got there. The beliefs, the defaults, the convictions you'd go to the mat for — none of it was chosen. Most of it was installed. And some of it was installed by people who had very specific reasons for wanting you to hold it.

That's the thread. I'm pulling it.

I don't know exactly how many parts it'll run. Depends on how far it goes when I pull. But the shape is coming together, and the first one goes somewhere uncomfortable in the best possible way. I'll say which parts are documented and which are pattern recognition. That distinction matters to me.

If you already live in this stuff — you've been down these holes, you know more than me about half of it — good. Tell me where I'm wrong. I'd rather be corrected than comfortable.

And if you're the other kind, the one who thinks this is all a little much — read it anyway. Some of what's coming is on the record, public, documented, and somehow still buried. If even one thing makes you stop and go wait, that's real? — then it worked.
